Michael Cool, the founder of Cool Eats, grew up in Oakland, CA, where he developed a love for adventure and sports. Raised by two supportive parents alongside his two brothers, Michael's childhood was a rollercoaster ride scary but exciting, though academics were never his strong suit. After not getting accepted into his desired high school, he moved to Dublin, CA, where he felt he never belonged. Michael joined the baseball team, making new friends who appreciated his vibrant personality.

Despite his initial struggles in high school, Michael made a commitment in his third year to turn things around academically, finishing strong in his last two years. He then attended San Jose State University (SJSU), where he initially enjoyed the college social scene but eventually realized he needed to prioritize his future. Deciding to focus on building something meaningful, Michael dedicated himself to creating Cool Eats, a delivery service tailored for students near campus. Working 50 hours a week to save up for his business, he embodied the belief that "I can party later; it's time to be somebody." His determination and hard work paid off as he built Cool Eats from the ground up, aiming to revolutionize the way students experience food delivery.
